Make and receive phone calls in FaceTime on Mac
My FaceTime will not ring me and I cannot ring out on my iPad mini. Works on my iPhone only.

Contents 0. You can do that from your Mac, too. When a call comes in for your iPhone, your Mac will chime.
FaceTime places your call. Your iPhone will still ring, just not your Mac.
If you finish up, Option-click the icon again. Click Settings and deselect the Calls from iPhone checkbox. You can still answer on your iPhone if you like, but if you let it ring through to the Mac which will play its own ringtone , a notification appears where you can choose to accept or reject the call. You can also make phone calls from your Mac. To do so, launch FaceTime; select the Audio tab; and enter a name, email address, or phone number of a contact you want to call.
