The wireless "Direct" as I understand it, is between devices with wireless capabilities. The new iMac has a wireless keyboard and mouse. The HP printer also claims to have this same capability.

Should I uninstall the HP and reinstall? Is the issue with the iMac? I sure hope somebody else has had a similar problem and can help us to arrive at a successful outcome. The USB cable connection works fine and was connected during printer setup - and we did disconnect when prompted.
