I still recommend spending the extra time to make the layers. This recipe calls for ground Italian sausage. Freshly shredded cheese melts a lot better than the pre-shredded bagged stuff you get in the grocery store. Chemicals are added in with the pre-shredded cheese to keep it from clumping and sticking together as well as to prevent mold.
These chemical interfere with melting.
For best results, always use freshly shredded or grated cheese in recipes, particularly ones that involve melting. I used fat free cottage cheese and Weight Watcher's cheese. I joined this site because of Loved these! My girls loved helping mommy make them and the wonton wrappers make this dish so nice and light. Where lasagna can sometimes be heavy because the noodle is so dense, this one is light and flavorful. A definite must for our weekly menu! Thanks for responding!

A friend at work told me they should be there too! Didn't go look found an Asian Grocery store and got them there! Will be making tonight for potluck birthday party tomorrow. I am hoping making tonight and cooking tomorrow will be ok Mine were a little soft. I didn't let them sit in pan to long.
