Hello Vlad: Open a jpg file in PhotoMe, and you will see all of the data for the photo, including the camera settings, shutter actuations, and even the temperature of the sensor at the time the picture was taken. There are visual renditions of the image showing your focus points, histogram, and if you drill down into the data section a diagram of the EV levels for each of the meterinmg segments.
Fascinating program, works better than any of the alternative programs I have tried.
Why Might You Want to Know Your Shutter Count?
Thanks for posting that link, I'm downloading now. I can't find the shutter count info. Same here. Nice app but no shutter count for any of my bodies. This was from Chuck Westfall at Canon, from another discussion regarding this last fall. The only sure way to get accurate information is through diagnostic software and other means that are available exclusively to authorized Canon service technicians.

Also, since the Maker Note field in the Exif metadata for image files from Canon cameras is considered proprietary information by the company, I am not at liberty to discuss any details about it. Perhaps Canon offer this service which would be either a paid or free service? I'll wager it's paid though: Why hide it??
I use 40ShutterCounter and it works just fine with my 50D, it may be a long shot in the dark, but it may work with other bodies as well. The 1Ds1 wrote the shutter count into the exif data of every image. There you could read it with every program that displays the complete exif data.
Probably its stored in the proprietary maker notes section. I imagine that the 1D3 does the same. Looks like nothing works.
