I teeter between a Clay 5 or Earth 1 in Iman's foundation stick depending on the season. Another thing I like about the Iman range is, her product line covers a broad spectrum of natural looking complexion colors for women of color - from light to dark. When I tell them it's Iman, I often see a look of shock. I have tried a similar foundation stick product by Black Opal I use the Nutmeg color in this range but I can tell you their is no comparison for me, Iman is the clear choice. The Black Opal product is bigger but as the ole adage goes " It's about quality not quantity ".
I f I had a suggestion or wish for Iman's foundation stick, it would be that she increased the volume. I made my purchase of the Iman Clay 5 foundation stick on Amazon after my local drug store stopped selling the range of Iman products.

Amazon had the product at a comparable price with free shipping and despite other reviews, my order was correct I received the correct item and shade and I will order again. I have used this product for years and I'm always getting compliments on how nice my completion is. If you have dry to medium skin i would recommend using a moisturizer on your face before applying the product. I normally use some natural oil or Nivea lotion and then apply and blend with a blending bush or sponge Also, I normally purchase clay 1 and 2 and blend them because it looks more natural when i blend it.

I like it a lot! I can't believe I lived so long before discovering Iman's Cosmetics! I love her products! Smashbox products tend to make my skin look either yellowish or grayish. At first I thought Iman's products looked grayish too but they're actually perfect!!

I have vitiligo and much of the pigment has disappeared from my face but in a very strange raccoon-like pattern, leaving my under-eye area super dark, my nose and cheeks almost white, and my chin spotted. I've had dubious results with the concealer - maybe don't know how to use it properly yet. But by applying the second to none stick foundation over my discolored and light spots and under-eye area, then using a damp sponge to apply the second to none cream to powder foundation to blend and fill everything in, and finally using the second to none luminous foundation powder on top all in Clay 1 , I get a lovely consistent, and natural look in 5 minutes!
From here I can add eye liner, lip color etc. So happy to have found Iman Cosmetics!!
