Well it worked.. If I click about this mac, system crashes show a black screen and then the desktop appears again. Can anyone reply or tweet XtraRare the download link for the iso. I don't know where to go, I spent 2 hours downloading an iso and it didn't work lol. System halted. It was installed on the volume that was created. Use empire efi to boot and install from a retail disk. I'm in the same boat.
But now it's stuck on the dark gray Apple logo on a light gray background with the forever spinning cogwheel a bit below. Step 10 should have more details pertaining to which options should be selected with accompanying screenshots. Why is my installation extremely slow? This should only take 15 or so minutes… I checked and double-checked to make sure I followed the guide correctly.
Anyone know what this is caused by????? I didn't see the update tions though which is the only thing I didn't follow the from the instructions. Perhaps I should go back and try it again and make sure I see that update option? Click that, and the next screen is where you will have the option to install updates EFI Shell version 2. It takes for me only a few seconds, but you i think are running it in 32 bit, insted of 64 bit.
I followed this exactly, to the letter, and after the install and reboot I got: boot0: GPT boot0: testing boot0: testing boot0: done boot1: error.
