Whether you are restoring one file or all your files, Carbonite makes the process quick and easy. You can sign into your account using any Internet-enabled computer. When performing Carbonite actions like reinstalling or renewing, we generally suggest using Internet Explorer if you are on a Windows computer or Safari if you are on a Mac computer. Each Carbonite subscription can be used for one computer at a time.
When you transfer Carbonite to a different computer, the nickname of your subscription will stay the same but the actual name of your subscription will take on the new computer's name. When the computer powers back on, allow all startup processes to complete before attempting to open and check Carbonite.
