I've tried making a small app from it as well with Fluid and an Automator action, but the issues are still the same - no transcripts, and a browser process stays open, which is a lot more resource intensive than say something like Monal. Thanks, but as I mentioned, Monal has a bug which causes it to close the connection and not maintain presence as soon as it's backgrounded, so it's not a viable option for anything except sending a quick message and going offline.

All props to the dev, but it's just not stable enough. Many thanks - I tried it out, but it looks like a Trillium-type aggregator deal where you hand your data and accounts over to someone managing a server, then it distributes your messages to various platforms and clients.
