Convert color PDF to Black & White or grayscale on Mac – Software RT
Operating System: macOS I recently downloaded new printer driver software. It used to be an option when I went to print a document. But it is not an option anymore. I am using a Mac PowerBook, if that makes any difference. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
Print color as black (Acrobat Pro, Pro Extended, and 3D Version 8 only | Windows only)

Does the printer print from any other device exclusively in black?

Let us try these steps: Make sure that all the latest Mac OS updates are installed correctly and completely and that the most current ones are installed. MS Word or any Mac Native app. HP Printers - Printer is Offline Mac perform these steps: Step 3: Remove multiple printers from the printer list Step 4: Delete the existing print queue and add the printer Just that when you delete the printer.
This screams out for Apple to standardize as they always did in the past. It's crippling UX in order to force ink sales.

Mac OS X Speciality level out of ten: 1. What did work for me: Save as PDF from the printer dialog. Open PDF and print.
Select "Grayscale Print" from the "Presets" dropdown. Oddly enough, this preset is not available in the original document which was a png. Peripherals Speciality level out of ten: 0.
