Its a shame since they do come out with nice shades time to time. They also have a tendency to chip a ton. I will not repurchase. About reviewer reviews. These are so sheer, take forever to dry, and chip a ton. I do not recommend them.
MAC Light Affair Nail Lacquer Swatches and Review
I'm very impressed with this. I was looking for a bright red for summer, and almost bought Chanel's "Dragon," but stumbled across MAC's "Shirelle" and decided to give it a go. The formula is fantastic -- I only needed one coat, it dried extremely quickly and went on smoothly, with no clumps.

Two coats lasted me two weeks and barely chipped at all, with no topcoat. The color is gorgeous and I've gotten tons of compliments on it. I wish they made a sea foam color though, that would be even better.
Will repurchase. It lasts for a very long time.

MAC, clinique, and Bare Escenuals is my three favorite brands, oh yeah and the juicy tubes too fomr Lancome, but the MAc naiol polish barely chips,a nd it looks like a professional nail salon has done it. I am loving the green and pink and gold tones of Mean and Green. Now I want Bad Fairy as well! I hate ending up having dupes…but it might happen.. These kind of polishes are very pretty. I have two more chances though so I am not upset yet. Online and then MAC Georgetown. Still hoping. Is that weird? The fun bottles. At least I can save some money this way. Your pics are sooo good. How many coats did you have to apply? I applied three coats of each polish. I really love the bad fairy color and had been looking for something similar. Thanks for this! I pre-ordered Bad Fairy and Formidable and I was almost going to take Bad Fairy off of my list, but this changed my mind!! Oh no — I thought I only wanted Formidable!

One less thing to buy! I totally want Bad Fairy. Thanks for the post! Is it just me, or are MAC polishes without topcoat really dull? I have Bad Fairy and it seems I got a bad one. One of the hairs on my brush is splayed out and the brush itself is kinda… wonky. You have the best reviews and pictures. Thanks for all your hard work! These products are now on the regular MAC website!
