I'm not sure how useful it is, but it's kinda fun testing it out. Didn't identify "Heroes" by David Bowie or any other song I tried. It's nice it's free so gets a point for that and the simple interface.

Other than that it's of little if any use. Doesn't work! Tried it with several well-known songs. Didn't recognise even one of them. Though the free version of Shazam is now poor. I'm running MacOSX This is just I haven't found a practical use for this yet, but I can see why it would be useful!

Some songs it can identify in seconds, and it has worked for nealy everything so far, the exception being: Prolouge - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Prolouge - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Hardly suprising, as it did it really quickly, not listening far enough to hear the differences Fantastic software, easy to use, no problems so far, great for freeware! Discovers the name and lyrics of an unknown song

Works great for the last several songs I've played. It has even recognized George Carlin stand-up comedy purely voice, not music. I'd suggest others download Tunalyzer from the developers site, which analyzes the music in your iTunes Library and adds it to Tunatics peer-edited database of songs found out about it when looking through devs site to see how program works.

Neat little program - I haven't had much opportunity to test it, but this comment has little to do with that. One feature that I would find even more useful than it's current use would be the ability to identify songs playing on my computer. It would come in handy for all the "Track 01"'s that I have, but do not know the names of.

Tunatic: free music identification software

I threw a bunch on known stuff at it, all very recognizable, from Classical, to Popular, TV and Movie themes. While the product is entertaining, it is not ready for any serious identification yet. However it has strong for the future. Let me put it this way. This would eliminate the need to click twice when identifying another song. This is a cool little app.

A couple of suggestions that I can think of are: Make it widget. Make it skin-able.
