Off topic: Is your HP dc already up and running some Mac emulator?

M52 does run Windows , one of my all time favourites the last MS OS to work without registration. On the minus side is the P4 cpu which you should avoid, unless you can upgrade to a E or similar. Again, much depends on the software you plan to use. I would go for the Lenovo M55 or the quite similar Dell Optiplex or if you can find an affordable one.

As I had some small form factor PCs, I tend to prefer mini tower cases. More ports, better air flow, easier upgrading, less noise…. But you said that i should install Snow Leopard.

Is wikipedia wrong than? Another way i can try in a windows enviroment, is MacDrive.

All true. As of Mac OSX There will be some obstacles to resolve for you, obviously. If you could exchange the PB floppy for a working one, booting from floppy and installing MacOS 7.

I got a hold of a radeon hd I'm not sure how compatible it will be with this set up but I've already found some info about installation and available kexts.

My biggest question about my situation is: Why can I only boot from the legacy iboot chameleon, stolen and rebranded??? Even when I try to boot from the usb I created from myhack, still, can't boot! Does the fact that I'm using a Pentium D processor have any effect on the bootloader loading from iboot chameleon, stolen and rebranded instead of my sata drive??

Maybe the Pentium D is not compatible with Mach kernel I thought it were , although, usually, you get a kernel panic and a system reset in such case If that works, you'll have to copy the legacy kernel to your HDD after your initial installation and specify it in your Chameleon boot plist. Good stuff. Once you get to SL It's available in the Precision boot pack if I remember well. If not, you'll easily find it on the web. You can post now and register later.
