Mac ample pink lip gloss review

Every time I try a new shade, it becomes an instant favorite. These have honestly become a staple in my work-client makeup kit. I have literally neglected all my other bronzers in my collection ever since these bronzers have come into my life. I loved everything about it! These bronzers are game changers because you will never look muddy, just super tan or super contoured.

The pigmentation is definitely there, but in a soft way. For example, if I accidentally picked up way too much bronzer on my brush, I am able to blend it out beautifully because of the formula that I am working with on these babies.

While using The Balms Take Home the Bronze , you are able to achieve a soft bronzed look, or an extremely chiseled look simply by controlling how much product you want on your skin. Because I am extremely fair, it is hard to find a good cool-tone bronzer [aside from the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium , which costs more than two times the price of this Balm Bronzer]. Both brushes work wonderful with this formula. To provide a more tan-glowy look to my cheeks, I use Thomas, so that is my second favorite.

You can read my review of the highlighter palette here , but I am still so in love with the eyeshadow palette for many reasons! The inside houses a great mirror, but the palette overall could have been a bit smaller. The formula allows you to use the shades wet or dry. The shades all work so well together; it is definitely a well-thought out palette.

I can honestly say that I have nothing like it in my collection, which is something that I adore since I own so many palettes with a million colors, many of which look similar! I find that I need to dip into the twinkling toppers multiple times to get the amount of intensity that I desire [this is more so in regards to Mermaid Pearl, which is an iridescent holographic shade]. When applying the matte shades, I use a blending brush. When applying the metallic shades, I either use a flat shader brush or my finger. For the twinkling toppers, I find it best to use your fingers for the most opaque application.

Also, I highly recommend using a base underneath since they are toppers. I like using a matte skin-toned shadow, or you can use a shimmer shadow if you want it more intense. I highly recommend this palette because you can do so much with it. It contains the most beautiful unique shades, but they are still completely wearable. As previously mentioned, it is limited edition so if these colors call your name, definitely purchase it as soon as possible!
